The HLC Story
HL Consultants Ltd is a financial services business founded in 2009. We have since grown into a well-established brand, offering a comprehensive range of financial products and services.
We are home to an expert team of professional mortgage and protection advisors, and a high number of estate agents, accountancy practices, and solicitor firms, use us as their preferred Financial Services firm.
Our company ethos is clear — as a medium-sized firm, we effectively maintain our versatility, providing a bespoke experience to all our retail clients.
Many of our meetings are still conducted face to face and often outside of business hours. We can facilitate these meetings across our several strategically located offices, or at the comfort of your home or workplace.

Tina Randhawa
Company Director
Tina started her career in financial services in 2005. Soon after, she co-founded HL Consultants Ltd, and has since been integral to the company’s prominent growth and success. From her initial role as a mortgage advisor, to her current position as Company Director, Tina’s pedigree drives the ever-consistent growth of HLC.
Rachel Levett
Office Manager
Rachel started her career as a Mortgage Administrator in 2002, and broadened her profession into a wider range of financial services and products including Pensions and ISA’s. She joined HL Consultants Ltd in 2016, as her passion remained within the Mortgage and Protection sector. Rachel has also achieved Level 5 Diploma in Management.
Elaine Reynolds
Case Executive
Having gained a financial services background working for several years in the industry specialising in Financial Planning and Wealth Management, Elaine joined HL Consultants Ltd in 2017, as a Mortgage Case Executive. Over the years, she has gained extensive knowledge of the sector and continues to pride herself on helping her clients.
Billy Knowles
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Billy joined the HLC team in 2022, as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor, having worked in the property sector since 2015, with experience across the industry. Billy takes pride in providing a high level of customer service and brings years of experience in obtaining the right mortgage and protection products for his clients.
Jody Ashford
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Jody joined the HLC team as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor back in March 2020, having worked within the financial services industry since 2002. Since joining, Jody has also become a qualified Equity Release Advisor.
Laura Williams
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Laura joined HL Consultants Ltd as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor in 2014. Having worked in the financial industry since 2004, Laura has nearly 20 years’ experience in finding the right mortgage and protection deals on offer.
Byron Eacock
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Byron has joined the HL team in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience to the HL team as a mortgage and protection advisor. With a background in banking and corporate settings, Byron is dedicated to providing tailored solutions for each client, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and guidance throughout their property journey.
Nick Marsden
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Nick joined HL Consultants Ltd in 2018. He started working in the financial services markets over 20 years ago as a recruitment headhunter in London. After the financial crisis in 2007, he was offered a position in a national bank before diversifying into a national estate agency, where his profession began as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor.
Pippa Concannon
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Pippa has worked as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor since 2018. Prior to this, she had worked within the financial sector for 16 years and has a great knowledge and understanding of clients’ needs and circumstances. She prides herself on going above and beyond to ensure each client and their family obtain the right financial advice.
Rob Bird
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Rob joined HLC in June 2019, as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor. Previously, Rob was working in a similar position for a corporate company, bringing with him several years of experience within the financial sector.

Luke joined HLC in 2026 and is an experienced mortgage and protection adviser, helping individuals and families secure the right mortgage and protect what matters most. He prides himself on providing clear and honest advice, guiding you through every step with confidence, transparency, and with a strong focus on long-term financial security.

Jamie joined HLC in early 2026 and is committed to making the mortgage and protection journey as clear and accessible as possible. While he specialises in providing expert, hand-holding advice for first-time buyers, his experience in the industry allows him to offer trusted advice for all clients, whether they are remortgaging or moving home. By working as a partner rather than just an adviser, Jamie ensures that every important decision is made collaboratively. Zoe Challinor
Mortgage Planning & Protection Advisor
Zoe brings over 14 years of industry experience to the HLC team, having advised clients across the mortgage market and previously worked as a Business Development Manager for a leading lender. Before moving into financial services, she began her career as a travel agent, building the strong people focused approach she's known for today. Passionate about helping clients achieve their goals, Zoe provides clear, tailored support, whether you're buying your dream home, remortgaging, or exploring buy-to-let opportunities.
